الملخص
يدرس هذا البحث مخارج الأصوات اللغوية عند سيبويه، والمحدثين، وهو من أهم الموضوعات التي يبحث فيها علم الأصوات، فسيبويه بيَّن هذه المخارج الصوتية، معتمدًا على الذوق الصوتي والحس اللغوي، أمَّا المحدثون، فحددوا هذه المخارج بأسلوبٍ جديدٍ يعتمدُ على تسجيل الأصوات بأجهزةٍ صوتية متطورة ودقيقةٍ، لتحديد مخارج الأصوات، تكون نتائجها أكثر دقة.
وتظهر أهمية البحث في أنَّها تبرز آراء سيبويه في مخارج الأصوات، وآراء الُمحدثين في هذه المخارج ما بين مؤيد لسيبويه ومخالفٍ له. وقد اعتمدَ الباحثان في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ لأنَّهُ يتناسب مع موضوع البحث، القائم على استقراء آراء سيبويه الصوتية، وآراء علماء الصوت المحدثين فيها.

Abstract
The research studies the articulation of linguistic sounds according to Sibawayh and the contemporary Arabic linguists. The topic of the study is one of the most researched areas of the field of phonology. Sibawayh has shown the places of articulation of sounds considering the aspects of both sound and language. However, the contemporary linguists specified such articulations of sounds in a new style that depends on recording the sounds by accurate and advanced audio-recording devices to determine the place of articulation of each sound for the results to be more reliable. The importance of the research stems from the fact that it highlights the views of supporters and opponents of contemporary linguists about Sibawayh’s explanation of such sounds’ articulations. The researchers adopted the descriptive and analytical approach of research to conduct the study, which is suitable to obtain the objectives of the research that need to induce Sibawayh and the contemporary linguists’ opinions about sounds. The study includes an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. The first section addresses bilabial sounds and the sounds that involve the tip of the tongue. The second section addresses the sounds that involve the middle and back parts of the tongue as well as the velar sounds.
