ملخص
هذا مقال نهدف فيه إلى الوقوف عند أبرز النظريات التي قدّمها السوسيولوجيون لتفسير ظاهرة النموّ الحضري والتحضر في المجتمعات، حيث سعوا من خلالها إلى وضع إطار نظري علمي يشرح ما عرفته المجتمعات من تمدّن خلال تاريخها المعاصر، حيث تبلورت عدّة نظريات قدّمها علماء الاجتماع علّلوا من خلالها المتغيرات العمرانية على المستوى العالمي. كما وقفوا فيها عند الإشكالات التي خلقتها ظاهرة التمدن الحضري، أبرزها أزمة السكن والبطالة، وهنا عمل المنشغلون بالشأن السوسيولوجي على اقتراح مقاربات تطرح حلولا عملية لما نتج من أزمات بسبب ظاهرة النمو الحضري. ولذلك انشغلنا في هذا المقال بطرح مختلف النظريات التي قاربت الظاهرة، مما يهيئ إطارا نظريا لأيّ دراسة مستقبلية تسعى إلى معالجة الموضوع ميدانيا.

Abstract
This is an article in which we aim to stand at the most prominent theories presented by sociologists to explain the phenomenon of urban growth and urbanization in societies, through which they sought to develop a scientific theoretical framework that explains what societies have known of urbanization during their contemporary history, as several theories emerged presented by sociologists who explained the variables construction on a global scale. They also stood in it at the problems created by the phenomenon of urbanization, most notably the housing and unemployment crisis, and here those engaged in sociological affairs worked on proposing approaches that offer practical solutions to the crises that resulted due to the phenomenon of urban growth. Therefore, our interest in this article was to put forward the various theories that stood at the phenomenon, which provides a theoretical framework for any future study that seeks to address the subject in the field.
