الملخص
نسعى من خلال هذا البحث إلى أن نضع حدّا لإشكال عمّر لقرون، وخاض فيه القدماء كما خاض فيه المعاصرون، ويتعلق بما يصطلح عليه في علم العروض والقافية، بـ(عدّة القوافي)، التي يقصد بها عدد أنواع القافية الممكنة في الشعر العربي، حيث توصّل الخليل بن أحمد بعد إجرائه لجميع التغييرات الممكنة نظريا على تفعيلة الضرب، إلى أنّ عدّة القوافي الممكنة، هي ثلاثون نوعا قافويا،
غير أنّ الإشكال هنا وقع عندما اتجه الخليل بعد الجرد النظري إلى الاستشهاد لكل نوع قافوي من العدة الثلاثين، إذ لم يظفر إلاّ بشواهد شعرية لتسع وعشرين نوعا، ما خلق فرقا بين الجرد النظري لعدة القوافي وتطبيقاتها الشعرية في الواقع الشعري. وقد انتبه عدد من العروضيين إلى هذا الإشكال الذي وقع لدى الخليل، معتقدين أنّه وقع في خطإ، ومن ثمة راحوا يتصرّفون في العدّة من أجل الوصول إلى حقيقتها، غير أنهم لم يستطيعوا، والسبب أنهم لم يفطنوا إلى الطريقة الرياضية التي اتبعها الخليل في حصر عدّة القوافي، وقد اشتغلنا في البحث على حلّ هذا الإشكال حلاّ علميا بلغنا فيه درجة الاستدراك على الخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي في عدّة القوافي.

Abstract
In this research, we aim to put an end to a problem that has spanned for a long time, in which ancient and contemporary critics have spoken about, and related to what is termed in the science of rhyme, by several rhymes, which means the number of possible types of rhyme in Arabic poetry, where Khalil bin Ahmed arrived after making all the changes The possible rhyme to multiply is that the number of possible rhymes is thirty kinds, However, the problem here occurred when Hebron went to martyrs for each type of rhyme, as he found only twenty-nine poetic witnesses, and thus a difference emerged between the theoretical inventory and its poetic reality. A number of critics paid attention to this problem that occurred. They believed that it was due to a mistake by Hebron, and from there they worked hard to reach a solution to the problem, but they could not, and the reason is that they did not know the mathematical method that Hebron used to count the several rhymes. We have worked in research to solve this problem a scientific solution in which we reached the degree of awareness of Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi in several rhymes.
